Difference 1: GPS ceramic antenna and PCB antenna have different definitions

GPS ceramic antenna uses GPS satellite to realize navigation and positioning, and the main task of the user's receiver is to extract the pseudo-random noise code and data code in the satellite signal, so as to further calculate the navigation information such as the position, rate and time (PVT) of the receiver carrier. It can be divided into block ceramic antenna and multilayer ceramic antenna.

PCB antenna refers to the Department on the PCB for wireless reception and transmission. It is usually set on Bluetooth or wireless transmission module. Its wiring generally needs a clearance area to prevent the signal from scattering and affecting the reception effect; Make the omnidirectional antenna directional.

Difference 2: the characteristics of GPS ceramic antenna and PCB antenna are different

In terms of dielectric constant, GPS ceramic antenna is higher than PCB antenna, so the use of ceramic antenna can effectively reduce the size of antenna. The master station calculates the satellite's fine orbit and generates the navigation information of each satellite, which is transmitted to the satellite through the injection station.

The user segment consists of a receiver, a processor and an antenna. The position, speed and time of the user are calculated by receiving the satellite broadcast signal. The idea of GPS is based on satellite ranging. Users calculate their position by measuring the distance between them and the satellite. When the position of the satellite is known, each GPS satellite sends position and time signals, and the user receiver measures the time delay of the signal reaching the receiver, which is equivalent to measuring the interval between the user and the satellite. Measuring four satellites at the same time can solve the position, speed and time.
